Common use

Duphaston contains dydrogesterone, a synthetic hormone similar to progesterone. The medication stimulates beginning of the secretory phase in the endometrium thereby reducing the risk of endometrial hyperplasia and carcinogenesis, which increases due to estrogen.



Dosage and direction

Each condition requires special treatment and dose schedule. Follow all instructions of your doctor. To treat endometriosis take 10 mg of Duphaston two or three times a day from 5th to 25th day of your cycle. To treat infertility take 10 mg a day from 14th to 25th day of your cycle. Precautions
